The modern-day (and Spanish) equivalent to the neighbourhood watering hole, BODEGA Tapas Bar by SABOR found a cult like following at its original location at SABOR Downtown and for over a decade, patrons and regulars have urged expansion. In 2015, the Highlands location was unveiled, then 124 Street followed. To meet demand from customers in the suburbs, St. Albert was added in 2020 and Sherwood Park in 2021. A location in south Edmonton in Ellerslie has also just recently opened in April 2023.
